Our style is natural and candid - the photographs should be a record of the spontaneous and natural moments of your day, not an orchestrated collection of “posed” traditional wedding photographs. Every couple is different and the photographs should reflect this.

Having a lifetime career in photojournalism, Steve brings the same reportage style to his wedding photography which makes him stand out from the more traditional wedding photographers. Steve’s work has been published and printed in books, magazines and newspapers around the world - from United States Presidents, Prime Ministers and Princess Diana to lightning striking Centrepoint Tower and a bank robber caught in the act (which won a coveted Nikon Best News Photo of the Year award).

Steve and Anne have recently been commissioned to photograph weddings in Hawaii and New Zealand and work with couples from all over the world.

We have our favourite locations in Port Douglas, Palm Cove, Trinity Beach and Cairns - maybe a marina or jetty, tropical beach, or a rainforest setting - and Steve will work with you to suggest the right location as tide times and the right lighting has to be taken into account for that day. The sun can be very harsh in the tropics so this factor plays a big part.
